  Agate Inn
  sits on a 16 acre site, three miles from the City of Wasilla and seven miles from the City of Palmer. The grounds mostly remain in anoriginal wooded setting with several gardens and pathways. Most of the buildings have a view through the trees of Pioneer Peak, Twin Peaks orthe Talkeetna Mountains. The rear of the property fronts on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway. The only animals on the property are our two reindeer,native birds, squirrels, and several moose wandering through during the spring, fall and winter months.

  The

  is approximately one hour from the Anchorage International Airport. The road coming out of the airport terminal becomesInternational Airport Road.Follow International Airport Road to the first overpass and take Minnesota Drive North to Downtown Anchorage. Stay on Minnesota Drive untilyou get to 6th Avenue. Take a right onto 6th Avenue. 6th Avenue will become the Glenn Highway (HWY 1). You will stay on the Glenn Highwayfor 35 miles until the stop light at the intersection for the Parks Highway (HWY 3). The Parks Highway starts at milepost 35 and travels North toWasilla, Denali and Fairbanks.
